Oh parties - you never know who you'll end up with at the end of it all! I remember this one party where I thought I'd bagged myself Tony Blair, but it actually turned out to be Gordon Brown... how wasted must I have been!

Ahhh politics, love 'em, hate 'em, whatever your opinion they're always there in the background - lurking under the stairs like one of the Fritzl's. Now the question is, who to vote for? From what Labour tell me, if I vote Tory then this country will never get fixed as the Tories are the folks who broke it to begin with. Now call me a sceptic, but if you've already spent thirteen years trying to 'fix' well... anything, chances are you're not the right person holding the sellotape. That's right, I posted my vote for change... Cleggy was too cool and made me feel self conscious, so 'Call me Dave' it was - may the Lord(s) (House of) have mercy on us all...

Now I'm not usually one for toilet humour, but given that soon Mr Brown will be fishing for the last remnants of his career here pretty soon I thought I'd let this, ahem, 'topical' vid slip through the net...

In other news, that big ash-hole in Iceland (no not Steve with the squinty eye who refuses to help pack my bags) is still causing havoc as flights are potentially set to be disrupted throughout the summer, preventing folks coming into the UK. The BNP were said to be "Pleased" with the news.

Do you ever get asked what your favourite song is? I had to use it as the answer to a security question today and, well, it was a ponderer... I mean it really does depend on how I feel. That said, this is one song that I come back to time & time again. From the late, great Phil Lynott, this is Thin Lizzy with what is often regarded to be their greatest song - just be warned, it's a bit of a weepy! Enjoy!

Yes, I just love the twangy guitar noises - especially the last solo starting around the 6 minute mark (the best ones are never short - or so I've been told by many a dissapointed lady!) - however it's when the clock reaches 7mins 25 secs that I just get lost in the noise. For the next 20 seconds there's a sound that - to me - for some reason that I've never been able to put my finger on, sounds like 'freedom' - if it were to have a noise anyway.

Ah well, that's it for tonight - it's back to 'The Warriors' on ITV4 - Can you dig it?!

Goodnight everybody!

Just for clarification, '6 minute mark' is a reference to a point in time within the song & not a new nickname for Mr Leonard! (Eww)
